They are going into the space where Dixie Blues went out of business so many months ago at 345 Amherst Street, Unit 1. A sign is up and work appears to be happening inside.

It is our understanding that they will be the sister dining establishment of Bistro 781 in Waltham, MA. From the similarity on the name, NH Reviews has a high level of confidence on this one.

With that in mind and thinking that the menus would be alike, they could take some of their current items to the new place. Options include salads/bowls, appetizers, entrees, burgers, and vegan foods.

If the hours of operation match with Bistro 781, Bistro 603 will be open Monday to Wednesday with dinner from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Thursday has breakfast/lunch from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and dinner from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Friday offers breakfast/lunch from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm, dinner 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and late-night menu 11:00 pm to 12:30 am. Saturday includes brunch 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, dinner 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with late-night menu 11:00 pm to 12:30 am. Sunday has brunch 9:00 am to 2:30 pm and dinner from 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

NH Reviews is looking forward to trying Bistro 603. Nashua is a frequent destination but new places have been few and far between. There is good news on the horizon because Sunny Side Up is on the way.

They will be at 427 Amherst Street, Unit 9. The space is in a small mall to the right of Cucina Toscana restaurant. Apparently, there was a bead shop here previously.

In terms of information, there is little if anything online. The main evidence of something happening is the sign above with bacon strips shown to the left. Paper covers the windows indicating that a renovation is happening. There were lights on inside when we stopped by recently. Worker trucks with ladders on top were visible outside so something appears to be happening.

More importantly, a building permit is posted on the door from August that mentions a deli. At only 1,500 square feet, the lot is small. The cost of the project is listed at $5000.00 so our guess is that changes will be minimal.

NH Reviews has no estimate on when service may start. The process looks to be moving along slowly. We look forward to trying the breakfast at Sunny Side Up.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-91422617392629363182020-03-03T15:26:00.001-08:002020-03-03T17:01:32.477-08:00Casey Magee’s Irish Pub Coming Soon To Nashua<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The beginning of March always brings up thoughts of St. Patrick’s Day and Irish pubs are top of mind. Residents of Nashua are going to have a new one to add to the list because Casey Magee’s Irish Pub is coming soon.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They are replacing what was the Revolution Sports Bar at 8 Temple Street. Owner Matt Casey has been working diligently to bring his vision to life.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store for customers when they enter. You will find a classy space with updates galore. The walls have been painted green to fit in with the theme. Beautiful hardwood flooring has been added along with stained glass lighting. Upstairs there are pool tables for your enjoyment and a few bar stools.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Per usual, NH Reviews has a few suggestions. On the menu, we would like to see at least one boxty dish and would definitely stop in to try it. Live Irish music is a must to help bring in customers.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Our take is one of optimism for Casey Magee’s. There aren’t enough good Irish pubs in the state and new openings are infrequent so this is welcome news. Matt hopes to open in late March.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-38508242521654516322020-02-25T15:40:00.001-08:002020-02-25T15:47:25.905-08:00Dom’s Sports Bar To Open In Hudson<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The rumors have been swirling over the last few years about a new dining establishment going in at 62 Derry Street in Hudson. Initial reports had a Mexican restaurant setting up shop but that didn’t happen. Now, the place has a name. Dom’s Sports Bar & Grille is coming soon.
Changes to the 2,326 square foot space include new windows, siding, flooring, bathrooms, and a bar.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The menu is still under development but expect to find pub cuisine and pizza. Coca Cola is their soda vendor.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They are replacing a Pizza Hut that went out of business here like so many others for the poorly performing chain. We have found the quality of their food has gone down in recent years. Expect to see more closings for them in the future.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Their demise has been a boon for new food service businesses such as Dom’s Sports Bar who are searching for a space that lets them move in quickly with low start-up costs. Building a dining establishment where one didn’t exist before is extremely difficult. The benefits usually outweigh any challenges when there was a prior restaurant because expenses are typically lower and the time to completion is not nearly as long.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Dom’s Sports Bar hopes to open sometime this spring. <span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">For those who are unfamiliar with the company, we can help fill you in on the details. They have owned two very successful restaurants in Massachusetts for many years. Moonstones, one of our favorites in Chelmsford has a small and large plate menu. Their other spot under the name Cobblestones is in Lowell.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The concept has not been identified yet but will apparently have stones in the name. Renovations look to be underway with a large white storage bin visible outside.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">From our perspective, this is welcome news. NH Reviews is hopeful for something similar to Moonstones that in addition to tapas has wonderful classic adult beverages and impeccable service.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The location is 449 Amherst Street and they will be on the far right corner of the small shopping center. Let’s hope that the owner has better luck in this space compared to Pig Tale. With Stones Hospitality Group at the helm, we believe the chances of success are good.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-87473176686157160282020-01-03T13:54:00.000-08:002020-01-03T14:01:34.680-08:00110 Grill To Open In Concord, Portsmouth, And North Conway

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We’ve dined at several of their other locations as well as their sister restaurant, Burton’s, and we are pleased with their new dining establishments in the granite state. For those not familiar with the brand, they serve everything from salads, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, to steaks. They also have large bar areas with a wide range of specialty cocktails and several beers on draught. While it’s a chain, they are very accommodating to individual preferences and dietary restrictions and everything is made fresh and cooked to order.

The dining establishment would be a carry-out and delivery only.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They are proposing site improvements to include new pavement, landscaping, and a renovation of the building. Seven existing parking spaces would be used for employees and customers. Hours are Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 11:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am to Midnight.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The existing drive-thru would be used but in a different way from a standard fast-food establishment with lower traffic volume
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">expected. To avoid a back up of automobiles onto the street, food is not ordered onsite. Their plan is to have customers order and then pick-up at a specified time.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">To move forward with the project in a limited space, the owners need special approval from the city. <span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">For fans of the dining establishment, there is still time to get your last digs in but not for long. According to a sign posted outside the restaurant, their official closing date is October 20th.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The company has fallen on hard times and this seems to be just another tick mark on a long list that have shut their doors. Nashua closed and so did Keene and there will probably be many more.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">My last time at the North Main Street location was for a coffee early one day a few years ago. Since then, unfortunately, there have been no visits. The breakfasts were okay but they were competing with too many other higher-quality places and in the end customers were lost.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We actually spent more of our time at their Loudon Road location with ice cream our favorite choice. Their specials on sandwiches were a draw for us a few times with waffle fries a decent side.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Dinners were never part of the mix after a bad experience at a Friendly’s many years ago in New York. I had ordered a grilled chicken dinner and in the middle, it was raw and had to be sent back. <span style="font-family: times, "times new roman", serif; font-size: large;">That said, they had their loyal fans and for them, Friendly’s will be missed.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-55304996434172703072019-10-15T15:25:00.000-07:002019-10-15T15:25:02.946-07:00Johnson’s Botches New No Bread Policy

There are certain things that we come to expect at some restaurants and serving bread before dinner is a regular occurrence. Johnson's Seafood and Steak in Northwood had been one of them until now.

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

Before digging into the details, it is important to look at the past. We have been regular customers here for 15 years. At the beginning of every meal, the server would bring out bread. Sitting on top of a small cutting board with a serrated knife, we always looked forward to slicing and indulging a homemade loaf. Our personal favorite was the onion but they had several other delicious varieties.

Moving to the present day, NH Reviews heard recent rumblings that their bread service ended. I didn’t think much about it at the time only hoping that it wasn’t true.

Over the past weekend NH Reviews ended up having dinner there and I had forgotten all about it. We were both starving and looking forward to our usual starter carbs. My wife asked me where the bread was and then I remembered and explained what had been heard.

We asked our waitress and she said that yes, the end of bread was true. Her explanation was that Rise & Shine, their bakery now housed in the new building attached to the restaurant, was “too busy” to handle the bread for the restaurants (they baked for all the Johnson locations as well as the York River Landing in Maine). Why don’t they hire more staff? I wondered. Ironically, you can purchase the bread in the bakery which means that you now have to pay for what was provided for free as a service before.

At the end of our meal, we went to cash out and the hostess asked how was everything? I asked about the new bread policy and she commented that they have had “negative feedback” from customers. What did they think? Nobody would notice.

In conclusion, the entire change in bread policy was botched. There was no notification anywhere letting their customers know that they were stopping bread service. We checked on their Facebook Page and saw nothing mentioned.

Next time we may bring our own bread and a charcuterie board.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They are setting up shop at 1 Industrial Drive in Hudson. The space previously housed Giovanni’s Roast Beef and Pizza.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">NH Reviews passes through Hudson frequently and we are not aware of many other restaurants nearby. From that perspective, they will have limited competition which is ideal for finding and attracting customers. That said, the location is a bit hidden so differentiating themselves with something other than standard offerings is going to be important to their success.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The restaurant will be fast service and offer delivery. Inside, there is 1,700 square feet of space to work with including seating for 22 patrons.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">NH Reviews wishes them luck as they move forward towards their opening. To find them, turn onto Industrial Drive and they are on the right business complex second unit down. We hope that the local Hudson community will all give them a try once service starts.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We can not speak to their other locations but the closure of Giovanni's here was no surprise. The feedback was not great. From that perspective, Corvino’s should be a major upgrade.
The transition happened a couple of months ago when three business partner friends acquired the restaurant. They have started to make adjustments and are looking forward to having you try the new XO On Elm. Changes include starting lunch service and they are planning to add Sunday Brunch.

What about their menu? It is large and varied with something for everyone including bites of five each, starters for sharing, soups and salads, Venezuelan arepas (grilled cornbread), hand and mouth, bowls, vegan choices, knife and fork, and desserts. You can even get a suckling pig slow-roasted but they need 24 hours notice for that one.

But there is more, have a special event in your future? The space has a function hall with room for up to 100 guests that includes a private bar and dance area. The uses are limitless. Whether for a business meeting or a party, they’ve got you covered. Their team can customize the food options based on your needs.

Find them at 827 Elm Street in Manchester (603)560-7998 and check out the new XO Bistro.
NH Reviews had heard that there might be another new restaurant on the way in Merrimack. Well, according to our sources the rumors appear to be true because the Tomahawk Tavern is opening soon.

For anyone who lives in the area, you may be familiar with Frank’s Place that has been closed for a long time. Formerly located at 454 DW Highway, Units I & J, this is where Tomahawk Tavern is setting up their new establishment.

It is our understanding that the left side will be a deli and butcher shop starting service in about a month. The right side is for the tavern that they hope to have open in a couple of months.

The space is a bit tricky to find. Look for the CVS Pharmacy and a traffic light and you are in the right place. Turn here and go all the way to the end and they are in the last two slots on the left next to Brown’s Village Depot at Connell’s Shopping Plaza.

We took a ride over to check it out and there is definitely a renovation underway. There was not much to see because paper covers the windows.

NH Reviews wishes them well with their new business. Hopefully, we can visit once the restaurant is completed.

A new restaurant is opening in Hampton, Good Eats is on the way.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We just found out about this one. A sign has been attached to the front of the building with “Good Eats Restaurant Opening Soon!" so yes, this is really happening.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The location is 320 Lafayette Road in Hampton. That may sound familiar to some, it is the former space of Fast Eddie’s Diner. The sale apparently included all of the old equipment.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Their menu is loaded with comfort foods, sandwiches, and soups made with fresh local ingredients whenever possible. In addition, bakery items and meals for takeout are expected to be available.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The restaurant atmosphere is casual. The owners have about 1,944 square feet to work with inside for their Good Eats concept.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">To be honest, we are not that familiar with their location but the space is on Route 1 near a Monro Muffler Brake and an Alltown Mobil. Across the street is a CVS Pharmacy.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They will be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. We are looking forward to a visit and wish them success with their launch. Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-40270727539650297992019-10-04T09:40:00.000-07:002019-10-16T17:04:50.059-07:00Texas Tacos Is On The Way To Nashua <span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">On our travels around Nashua, something has definitely been missing in the dining scene. Where are all the food trucks? Any city worth its salt needs a few good ones and I can’t recall seeing any. A new business is going to try and change that under the name Texas Tacos.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They are just getting started with the business. It is our understanding that their Mexican taco street style food trailer will focus on 100 percent authentic cuisine.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Perhaps they would like some advice from NH Reviews. Looking at the success of others doing something similar is a good place to start and with tacos, nobody does it better than B’s in Londonderry. All fresh ingredients including making their own shells have made them one of the best. Texas Tacos needs to come up with their own concept and spin but reviewing the process used by another dining establishment can only help.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Maybe this is only the beginning of many more food trucks in the Nashua area. Hopefully, Texas Tacos is starting a trend that is definitely needed.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We dug up their Facebook Page for anyone who wants to follow their progress. They hope to start service in about a month and plan to be open early in the morning and late at night. Look for Texas Tacos around town in Nashua. NH Reviews wishes them the very best with their new business.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">PS: Don't forget that today is National Taco Day, be sure to go out and have at least one. Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-12975859556131111652019-10-03T16:05:00.000-07:002019-10-03T16:05:38.677-07:00Blue Harbor Coffee To Open In HamptonGood news for java fanatics in Hampton, Blue Harbor Coffee is on the way.

July 11th was a big day in the life of Blue Harbor Coffee. It was on that day that the owners signed a lease for their new digs at 446 Lafayette Road. Since then, they have been working to bring the business to life.

An important part of their journey is to ensure that the coffee is fresh. No stale beans here because on July 30th from Nevada they received shipment on a key piece of equipment, a San Franciscan Roaster. Perfect for small batches, get ready for something special.

Although coffee is the focus they are going to offer a lot more. In addition, expect to find teas along with pastries including donuts, cookies, muffins, and cakes.

Who among us doesn’t remember taking the first sip of awful coffee? Lukewarm with no flavor and knowing that it must have sat all day. Blue Harbor will help you forget those bad mornings.

On timing, they are finishing up renovations and hope to open in October. In terms of location, they are downtown just up from The Old Salt on Route 1 close to the gazebo.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-35038027112633759692019-10-01T16:02:00.001-07:002019-10-01T16:06:09.068-07:00Restaurants In The Sky At Bretton Woods New On Mountain Venue

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">In my youth more time was spent in the White Mountains hiking, camping, and relaxing in the deep woods. In fact, I even hiked up Mount Washington once. Those days are long gone but the spectacular views will never be forgotten which bring us to the present day and the new "on the mountain" venue at Bretton Woods.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The large scale project has been in the works for years and construction is underway with their new gondola slated to start carrying passengers later this year. <span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We call these restaurants in the sky because our imagination pictures that type of view. There are two dining establishments planned along with a coffee shop and bar. The second level is available for weddings after a change over to an event space. The perimeter appears to have windows throughout maximizing your ability to see in the distance.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They are hoping to open in the summer of next year. A definite must-do for 2020 is to take a ride on their gondola and check out their new summit restaurants.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">NH Reviews did take a ride over there to try and find out more details. The exact location was not clear but the sign was definitely visible “Coming Soon” in big red letters followed by “Golden Corral Buffett & Grill” in red.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">We heard from the stakeholders of the restaurant who confirmed that yes, they are opening here and the electronic billboard sign is accurate. Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-76684195773813925512019-09-24T15:53:00.004-07:002019-09-24T15:59:13.280-07:00The Sassy Biscuit Co To Open In Dover<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Here is another one that we have heard whispers about for anyone in or near Dover. Let's all take a deep breath and calm down but this is exciting. The Sassy Biscuit Co is on the way to Dover.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">NH Reviews is trying to put the details together but apparently, they already have a restaurant in the United States at 115 North 29th Street in Billings, Montana. Our assumption that the new location will be similar in scope and food.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">With that in mind, they are a Bruncherie with a focus on sweet and savory comfort foods and a specialty of making biscuit waffles or what they call pressed shortcakes. Other menu items are pancakes, biscuit French toast, steel-cut oatmeal, granola, dropped biscuits, and simmers along with knife and fork sammies.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">For the Dover spot, we think the new space is at 104 Washington Street at a new mixed-use development called the Orpheum that is under construction. If the hours are the same as Montana, they will have service from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm Sunday to Tuesday and Wednesday to Saturday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">They hope to open sometime in early 2020. NH Reviews will provide more information when we can.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-40180550418206909572019-09-22T18:04:00.000-07:002019-09-22T18:32:17.136-07:00The Cannoli Stop To Open New Cafe And Bakery In Concord<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">The Cannoli Stop At The Candy Shop is making some major changes to their brand, The Cannoli Stop Cafe and Bakery is opening soon in Concord.
It had been there for a very long time but the search for a tenant appears to finally be over although not in the way we had hoped.

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">According to our sources, Northridge Surgical Suites is opening in the space. NH Reviews thought something other than a restaurant might be going in because the most recent construction inside looked more like office space than a kitchen or dining room.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Perhaps this is all for the best. Although we are disappointed that a restaurant is not going in here, this would have been a difficult spot to find customers. Located off of Spit Brook Road, 41 Innovative Way is behind a shopping area and near the entrance to Gateway Hills. Would anyone know that they were there? Unless you lived or worked in the area probably not. Then there would have been major marketing costs just to drive patrons through the doors.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Northridge Surgical Suites is hoping to open in December.Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-12709143574161294432019-09-16T16:05:00.000-07:002019-09-16T16:05:51.725-07:00Poor Pierres Restaurant In Nashua Is For Sale <span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">For any fans of Poor Pierres in Nashua, the restaurant is for sale.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">As many of you know, NH Reviews is frequently in the Nashua area and try to keep an eye out for anything that might be of interest. We have driven by Poor Pierres at 303 Main Street several times and have never seen any cars there, was something going on?
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">First and most important, they are open for business. The dining establishment is closed on Sundays when we are typically in town and the reason no one was there. Additionally, they start service very early in the morning and close early afternoon so nothing is happening here later in the day.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">But there is a bit more to the story. After searching online we noticed that the property was up for sale. There were several listings with an offer price of $434,900 that included the equipment, land, and building.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Want to buy the restaurant? It may already be too late. When NH Reviews called them, in addition to confirming that the dining establishment is for sale, we were told that they already had a bunch of potential prospects on site. Richhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12554570585453958114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6554564753071854980.post-15525469719079751442019-09-13T04:39:00.000-07:002019-09-13T07:24:14.590-07:00Renovation At 76-82 North Main Street In Concord To Include Restaurant<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">After The Crazy Goat at 76-82 North Main Street in Concord closed, we hoped that a new restaurant would open in the space. <span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Apparently, Bangor Savings Bank purchased and is renovating the property at 76-82 North Main Street.<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;"> My heart sank initially, what about the dining establishment? There is good news on that front. The proposed uses on the city zoning department documents are encouraging in terms of something food-related. They mentioned a branch bank location, restaurant, and other uses.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">Work has just started on the property with construction company Landry French at the helm. Paper covers the glass outside and activity can be seen inside. The renovation will include all 4 stories, new storefront, stairs, elevator, and sprinklers.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">In the drawings, they are creating a beautiful building and addition to downtown Concord. The branch bank is on the left-hand side with the restaurant on the right. The first floor is expected to have 2,199 square feet of available space, plenty of room for something decent.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: large;">There is always the possibility that their plans could change but we are hopeful for a new and exciting restaurant.
