Bar VI Is Coming Soon To Nashua

Something to talk about for the upcoming week,  Bar VI is opening in Nashua.

Remember the old El Colima restaurant at 116 West Pearl Street.  They were a decent place to get Mexican food but unfortunately went out of business.

There had been some stirrings inside over the last couple of months with evidence of a renovation.   Floors cleaned, tables set up and a general look of getting the dining establishment ready.

To try and confirm, we called the Made Men Barbershop Lounge in the same space and spoke to the manager. As far as he knew, there was a new bar opening but did not know anything about the details.

Finally, on our most recent drive past,  a sign was visible for Bar VI. If that is any indication, this is really happening.

The building is old, constructed originally in 1890 and included the Flanders Cityside private residences along with the barbershop and El Colima.  The gross space is over 20,000 square feet, plenty of room to get creative for the owner.

We had been to El Colima a couple of times in the distant past and enjoyed their authentic Mexican food. Now, it is their turn to bring a successful restaurant to Nashua.
