NH Seacoast Favorite Ohana Kitchen Is Coming Soon To Newburyport, MA

A seacoast favorite is opening a new location,  Ohana Kitchen is coming soon to Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The business is focused on Hawaiian based cuisine and specifically the food poké.  For anyone who is not familiar with the dish, it is raw seafood that is seasoned and cut up to eat as is or combined with a starch or vegetables.

Ohana Kitchen has smartly zeroed in on the growing popularity of poké that is seen as a healthy option for customers searching for an alternative to mass-produced foods. With that in mind, they have put their own spin on the concept offering poké bowls along with sushi burritos.

Poké bowls are served with either white or brown rice, quinoa or baby kale. For bowls or burritos, you can choose from ohana classic, spicy crunchy ahi, miso salmon, ono salmon, westend shrimp, northeast chicken, avocado grindz, and soyboy.   Don’t like any of their pre-made options,  no worries because you can create your own.

The expected opening date is sometime during the fall of 2019.   The company has 2 other restaurants in Portsmouth and Exeter.  Their location for the new dining establishment is Port Plaza North Shops, 45 Storey Avenue, Newburyport, MA. 01950.  Good luck to the owners as they expand into Massachusetts.
