Wellington's Marketplace In Concord To Reopen Under New Ownership

The popular lunch spot, Wellington's, in Concord recently announced they have been sold.

The prior owners, a husband and wife team decided to close the business earlier this year and move because the husband had found a new job in New Mexico. They had been searching since then for someone to take over. A New Hampshire family has made the purchase with the previous owners helping to ensure a smooth transition.

As part of the sale of the business all of the prior recipes will be passed on as well. All of your favorite sandwiches, salads and soups from the past should be there when they start up again. My wife tells me that everyone raves about the Korean Pork Tenderloin Burrito. If you have never been that is your reason to check them out.

There was no time table given on when they might reopen. Good luck to the new ownership team.

Their specialty food store also offers wines, cheeses and olive oils.
