From youth in my grandfather's kitchen, where he would cover the stove on a Sunday and cook all day making enough food for a king and his small army. This is where my love for Italian food began. And yes, I could eat this stuff seven days a week.
Moving forward to present day, we visit Italian restaurants frequently and have developed a short list of quality favorites that are worth your time to check out.
- Angelina's. This small Italian restaurant is a true gem in Concord. Housed in a quiet intimate setting this is worth a drive. Great for couples celebrating a special day. Be sure to make a reservation at (603)228-3313. NH Reviews Top Pick: Seafood Fettucini Alfredo.
- Mangia, Manchester. Here it is all about the food baby. Chef Angelo Bruno prepares each dish to order. Again, you have to make a reservation at (603)647-0788. NH Reviews top pick: Creamy Chicken Marsala (Not on regular menu, you need to make a special request.). They are BYOB.
- Luciano's. This is one that you will go back to again and again. Located off the main drag in Londonderry. NH Reviews Top Pick: Bruschetta appetizer.
- Tuscan Kitchen. Salem and Portsmouth. You have to give credit to Joe Farro for developing what is becoming a restaurant empire. His success is well deserved with everything made fresh daily. NH Reviews Top Pick: Pizza
- Cucina Toscana, Nashua, NH. We have been to this one more than once and they never disappoint. NH Reviews Top Pick: Shrimp Al Forno.
