Villaggio In Manchester Hoping To Expand

The Villaggio in Manchester is hoping to expand with construction beginning sometime in late February or early March.  This is an Italian restaurant in a small shopping center on Hooksett Road.

The plan is to build out the back of the existing dining room to add space for 10 additional tables. This renovation would also include the bar and restroom area. The food that their customers are familiar with shall remain the same.

Before moving forward, they need the blessing of the Manchester planning board to allow a reduction in required parking for the expansion.  The meeting was scheduled for today and due to the snowstorm has been rescheduled for January 18th at 6:00 pm. We will be rooting for them and their customers who will benefit from these changes.

Villaggio bills itself as an authentic Italian restaurant where everything is cooked to order. Their menu includes appetizers, salads and Italian specialties along with seafood, veal and chicken dishes. They are open Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday, noon to 11:00 pm and Sunday noon to 9:00 pm.
