Off Main Pizzeria On The Way in Concord

There is a new pizza joint on the way in Concord. Off Main Pizzeria is hoping to open sometime mid-January.

The restaurant will serve pizza in the style of Boston’s North End and New York thin crust along with paninis and salads. This according to the owner, Jonathan Devens, who has been in the business for 30 years.

He decided on Concord because of the lack of places downtown to grab a pizza. Off Main is going to be a fun spot to get a slice whether for a family, individual or anyone else for that matter. There will be no delivery initially but that may be added in the local area.

They are finalizing the last details and planning to start testing the ovens sometime over the next couple of days. Mr. Devens is keeping the menu simple with the items mentioned above and is not planning to branch out into other foods.  For example, fried stuff including French fries are not expected to be available.

To Jonathan's point, the dining establishments where pizza pies are served on Main Street are limited. Yes, there are some such as Constantly and Vinnie's but if you want to walk or have something quick the options are few and far between that are close to the intersection of Pleasant and Main.

We hope Mr. Devens is successful with his new business.
