Strong Local Presence Brings Crowds To Cookies Cafe

Driving through Hudson a couple of times over the past few weeks, I noticed Cookies Cafe. My gut instinct told me that they must sell different types of cookies, right? Totally wrong on this one after NH Reviews checked in over the weekend.

The original name of the restaurant was Cookies Chuck Wagon and when the new owners purchased it a decision was made to change Chuck Wagon to Cafe. They are actually a breakfast place that recently started offering lunch. To find them, you need to search for the Central Street Plaza in Hudson. Head to the left side of the Nan King and you will see the sign in front of you.

Upon entry, this is a seat yourself establishment with tables and booths available. On this Sunday morning they were extremely busy. The owner ended up as our waitress and was kind and professional throughout. We asked what she would recommend and the Irish Benedict was suggested along with their omelettes.

Our meals were above average. The creamy hollandaise on the Irish Benedict made all the difference. Additionally, the bread is homemade and well worth a taste.

Cookies Cafe has many positives that come through in the food, service, and general feel of the restaurant. More importantly. it is fine example of a small business and owner who is doing all she can to ensure that her customers have a pleasant experience in a chaotic environment.

They are open Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Saturday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and Sunday 7:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Cookies Cafe offers breakfast and lunch delivery.
