Double Down at Nuevo Vallarta in Manchester

For Cinco de Mayo this year we celebrated at Nuevo Vallarta in Manchester and had a great time. A few weeks later NH Reviews was in the area and doubled down with another visit.


Initially, we were just going to order a few drinks but ended up staying for dinner. The bar is long and runs around most of the inside of the restaurant. From our vantage point, bright colorful seats could be seen in the middle and booths surround the outside with scenes of Mexican villages. Terracotta colored walls give off a fun pleasant vibe. Outside dining is available to the right side of the building.



To start our pick was the vallarta fries.

These were french fries and salty chicken slathered in gooey cheese. Needless to say that you will like the mix of ingredients on this one.

Some of our best ideas come from spying on food ordered by fellow diners. When the couple next to us got the Pina Vallarta NH Reviews had no choice but to order the same.

The dish has scallops, shrimp, chicken onions, pineapple and red/green peppers loaded into a half cut pineapple shell. Served sizzling hot in a sweet and sour sauce. The presentation and flavors were impressive.

Nuevo Vallarta is an above average Mexican restaurant in the Manchester area. From the food to the friendly efficient staff and fun environment everything worked well for us. Our second visit was as good as the first so yes doubling down was definitely worth the time. Try them twice like NH Reviews did and we hope you will become frequent guests.
