On the pyramid of foods that I love, fried chicken is near the top. So when NH Reviews heard about Wow Fried Chicken and Subs in Concord, the time was now for a taste.
This family business specializes in fried chicken and Mediterranean foods. They also offer subs, sandwiches, wraps, salads, chicken tenders, wings, and desserts along with fried jumbo shrimp and fish.
Focusing in on the fried chicken, they have several combinations that include more pieces depending on how hungry you are. These are served with fries or cold slaw and biscuit. Since our preference was white meat we decided on a five-piece with breasts only.
For dessert, we decided to try a churro. These are thin strips of pastry dough that are fried until golden brown. You can get them plain or cream filled and dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Ours had a nice crunch to the bite.

Located on Depot Street, you can stop in to eat at the restaurant in one of their small group of booths or take it to go. Delivery is also available through Grub Hub.

These are made fresh and typically take 15 to 20 minutes to cook. The breading was light with very little grease that is a conquering achievement. Inside the moist juices shine through while dunking the meat into different sauces only adds to your enjoyment. Greek house, blue cheese, and ranch were our favorites.
