They are taking over the former space of Theo’s Pizza Restaurant at 102 Elm Street. Apparently, the owner sold the property to a new proprietor who saw an opportunity to turn the space into a Mexican restaurant. They made an unbelievable offer that he couldn’t turn down.
It is our understanding that they have another location in the state. Their menu is expected to have fresh wholesome foods along with adult beverages including margaritas.
Mexican restaurants seem to be opening up all over the place and now we have another. The demand is there and even more for businesses that include the words “taco” and tequila” or focus on these two items. We only need to look south to Nashua where Frontera is coming soon to Amherst Street. Barrio has the same theme in Portsmouth and NH Reviews understands that they are hoping to open in Haverhill, MA.
Perhaps this is only the beginning of new businesses moving into the south end of Manchester. We wish Frida’s well with their plans to bring a very popular type of dining establishment to the Queen City.
