Restaurant Review: The Purple Finch Cafe, Bedford, New Hampshire: Never Again

A visit to The Purple Finch Cafe was a disaster. After we were seated, I expected someone to come right over to take our drink order but this didn’t happen. Instead, we sat there for at least five minutes wondering if anyone would acknowledge our existence. The waitress finally comes over and I put in my order. Keep in mind that I couldn't understand why it was taking so long because there seemed to be plenty of staff and it did not seem that busy.

After what seemed like forever, the food finally arrived - eggs over medium, bacon, toast and sweet potato dots. Everything was lukewarm at best and the potato dots were so sweet it seemed like I was eating sugar cubes.

If that wasn't bad enough our waitress was worse. She was rude and unfriendly during the entire meal. Never asking how the meal was, leaving dirty plates on our table and not seeming to care that we were having a bad time. Oh, and not smiling once during the whole meal. To me it seemed that she wanted to be anywhere but at this restaurant.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Purple Finch Cafe and will not be going back. It is disorganized with bad food and poor service.
