Find Cronuts Here: The Bakeshop on Kelley Street in Manchester

You may remember earlier this year when I wrote about the Cronut craze in NYC and their lack of availability in New Hampshire. Well, I have great news. You can find Cronuts right here in the Granite State at the Bakeshop on Kelley Street in Manchester. The bakery is only three years old and seems to have a lot to offer. When we were driving past on a recent Saturday and saw the sign below we had to stop:

Keep in mind that we have nothing to compare this to as we haven't tried the original Cronuts at the Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York. Needless to say I was excited, a cross between a donut and croissant, sweet!

Hmmmmmm.....this was like a warm honey dipped donut. I think my wife liked it more than I did but admittedly it was very tasty. You sugar fanatics are going to love it!

We know when we find a great bakery and the Bakeshop on Kelly Street fits our criteria. Want more reasons to stop, they also have pies, cakes, cider donuts and 7 layer bars. If you happen to drop in to try one of their Cronuts or any other tasty treat, please let us know what you think.

We still hope to visit the real original Cronuts bakery in New York and try those but for now we can satisfy our craving right here in New Hampshire at the Bakeshop on Kelley Street. Please note: Cronuts are only available on Saturdays and Sundays.
