Lucky's Coffee Garage hoping to open near Thanksgiving

In this hectic world that we live in with bad news all over the place, it is nice to hear a good story. This is what we found at Lucky's Coffee Garage, a new coffee shop and bakery in Lebanon.

Owner Deb Shinnlinger had a dream to open her own java haunt. She faced the same challenges that most restaurant businesses owners do like finding the right location, equipment, staffing and most importantly funding. Earlier this year Deb launched a Kickstarter campaign and with the support of many raised over $15,000 to help pay for her project.

This all started in earnest during the spring and since then steady progress has been made to make Lucky's a reality. They have been working diligently to get all the necessary city approvals along with completing the interior and exterior construction. Now it is just finishing touches where they hope to be open sometime around Thanksgiving.

Our assumption is that most of those who live in the Upper Valley are aware of Lucky’s. For everyone else who has dreams of their own, this is your hope for the future. We wish Deb and her team all the best.

Lucky’s will be open every day but Sunday from 7 am to 4 pm. They may extend their hours into the evening and serve beer and wine at some point, stay tuned. Beverages will include coffee, espresso, Italian soda and tea. Artisan toast, soups, sandwiches and other in-house made baked goodies are some of the food options.
