Owners Shanda Donovan and her husband Steve are still working on the details, however, they plan to offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with a family-style menu. The entire inside will be renovated including new flooring and equipment thanks to the generosity of the Walpole Foundation.
The restaurant is named for the son of a family well known to the Donovan’s. Spencer has had many health issues in his life including several surgeries and a heart transplant. They are also planning to develop specials in his name as well.
The owners had worked in the restaurant industry and Steve loves to cook so this seemed like a good fit for them. Additionally, they wanted to do something nice for the community and in bringing Spencer’s Place to Walpole they hope to accomplish their goal.
