Payao’s Thai Cookin In Northwood Expanding And Moving

Payao's Thai Cookin is on the move, the popular restaurant is relocating from their small space on Route 4 to a larger spot at 2 Cooper Hill in Northwood. 

NH Reviews spoke to the owner, Payao Murphy who indicated that she started the business along with 2 other partners about 4 years ago and they had outgrown where they were. During busy times patrons could wait 30 and 40 minutes for food. She is optimistic that the change is going to benefit her customers in the long run.

Initially, the plan is to offer take out and there will be inside seating with 20 tables for those who would like to dine onsite. She may also have table service at some point and alcohol. Her menu is expected to include new options that they would have as a special first and then add if the item does well. 

Payao hopes to start operations in February or March. This depends on when they receive their food license from the state. Once that happens, the doors should open shortly thereafter.
