Pleasant Street Grille To Open In Concord

Apparently, Chef Eddie Sargent is planning some major changes at the old location of Remi's Place in Concord. He has a new restaurant in the works under the name Pleasant Street Grille. We had driven by a few months ago and noticed an empty space with a step ladder inside and wondered if something was happening. There was no indication of anything new until now.

Mr. Sargent is going all in on his business and will have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering available. For the early risers expect to find eggs cooked any way you like them along with Benedict's, omelets, crepes, pancakes, and french toast. The midday menu has chowders, soups, salads, cold/hot sandwiches, griddle melts, and hamburgers. Supper provides what he calls barn entrees with lamb tenderloin, veal chop, and steak tips. Seafood items are grilled or pan-roasted scallops, grilled halibut or salmon, and shrimp scampi. Poultry fans will see a variety of options such as grilled quail, pan roasted duck breast, and chicken piccata.

Inside, NH Reviews noticed a small space with a counter and some tables sprinkled about. There was no indication on when they might open although the interior did not look finished.

This is good news for the city as the spot has sat unused for a long time. We are looking forward to having another breakfast place to try in the area.

Dinner hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The address is 62 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
