NH Native Brings Southern Cuisine To Concord With Georgia’s Northside

For anyone who lives on North State Street in Concord, you may remember the old Korner Kupboard market that went out of business a few years ago. Well, we have exciting news because Georgia’s Northside is hoping to open in that spot sometime next Spring.

NH Reviews spoke to the owner and New Hampshire Native, Alan Natkiel, about the concept which will be a southern kitchen and craft beer market.

Alan had left the state and ran a very successful restaurant called Georgia’s Eastside BBQ for 10 years in New York City. Now he is going back to his roots to bring his own special style of cooking to the capital region. The menu is still under development but he is thinking BBQ along with fried chicken and some things you might not expect such as fresh vegetables. Breakfast may also be part of the food options available.

His space is small so the initial idea is to have carry-out, catering, and delivery. The concept will most likely evolve over time as he continues to work on a best-fit use and from listening to his customer's feedback.

NH Reviews is looking forward to trying some real southern cuisine locally without having to travel hundreds of miles. Let’s give Mr. Natkiel a warm welcome when Georgia’s Northside opens later in 2019.

The address is 394 North State Street, Concord, NH.
