Nonna’s Place Is On The Way In Concord

The area around the old Remi’s Pizza at 62 Pleasant Street in Concord lay dormant for many years after closure and then all changed recently.   The Pleasant  Street Grille was first and sadly they failed replaced by Federals Cafe.   But that is not the end of the story.

If our source is correct, right next door at 60 Pleasant Street another restaurant is under development with the name Nonna’s Place. We took a swing by and looked inside.  It definitely appears that something food related is going into the space.

The most obvious indication was a red brick oven with the name Nonna in print across the top.   There were a few tables visible, chairs, and what looked like new wood throughout.  A television can be seen in the distance along with a fan above and a long large large pipe above that goes from one side of the room to the other. The floor was clean giving the appearance of readying for a potential opening.

Regarding the menu, that is unclear at this time.  Our best guess is Italian food, pizza, and possibly sandwiches.  It is our understanding that the business will be serving customers seven days a week.
