Passing through Dunbarton always brings back fond memories from my childhood as we drove through town on our way to Clough State Park to go swimming every summer. Then and even more now, there was always a feeling of wanting more. How about a few shops or restaurants?
Opening day is tentatively scheduled for February 21st. They have their food license and have begun training of staff.
For the local planning board, they should allow more businesses into town that will complement what MG’s Farmhouse Cafe has started. We are thinking possibly gift shops or other stores that would create a fun environment. No chains, just small purveyors who have an idea that is a fit. NH Reviews is optimistic that Dunbarton can still maintain a small town feel while slowly adding more businesses like MG’s Farmhouse Cafe to improve their downtown.
A new cafe is hoping to change all that and perhaps this is only the beginning. MG’s Farmhouse will be located at 1007 School Street and bring coffee, homemade sandwiches, and ice cream to the area. Visitors and locals can look forward to a casual environment and free Wi-Fi.
