Rack’s In Plaistow To Become Grumpy’s Bar and Grill After Fire

In the fall of 2018, Donahue’s Fish Market had a fire that caused extensive damage to Rack’s Bar and Grill that was located above at 20 Plaistow Road in Plaistow.  The restaurant has been closed since then due to smoke damage but there is good news because they are coming back under a new name, Grumpy’s Bar and Grill.

The renovations began in January to bring life back to this local favorite.   They are putting in a brand new kitchen and recently finished the hood. Additionally, you can expect to see new pool tables, dart boards, and some booth seating.

The menu will have NY Style Thin Crust Pizza and fresh burgers. A 3 sided bar has been added with a new 18 head beverage system for all of the beer fanatics in the audience.

The way back has been filled with challenges but this nice story is nearing a successful conclusion.  Grumpy’s hopes to be serving customers by the end of July.  NH Reviews has never dined out in Plaistow but now we all have a good reason to visit.  Once open, let’s give them a warm welcome back and ensure that they are jam-packed with customers.
