Firehouse Subs To Add Second Location In Manchester

A new sandwich shop is opening in Manchester. Firehouse Subs is on the way.

This will be their second Granite State restaurant with the other on Amherst Street in Nashua. At the new shops at 655 South Willow Street, the business has unit number 1665 earmarked for their establishment.

Like the name implies, they know subs and although their focus are hot options you can have them prepared and served cold. These include pub steak, smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket, turkey bacon ranch, hero, and tuna. We counted 20 different varieties on the menu so there is plenty to choose from for hearty appetites. Looking for something lighter, subs are now available in smaller sizes and they have salads.

With a family history as first responders,  the Sorensen brothers created Firehouse Subs. They have come a long way since founding the business more than 20 years ago. The company has grown to over 1,100 locations and continues to expand.

NH Reviews contacted Firehouse to find out when they might open. All indications are that the new development is not near completion. We did hear back and tentatively their best estimate was mid-April of 2019. In the meantime for a taste of what’s to come, visit their Nashua restaurant at 341 Amherst Street.
