Here is a quick FYI for our friends over the border in Massachusetts, Two55 Club is coming soon to Lowell.
Work began on June 1st at the old Gaelic Club at 255 Chelmsford Street to turn the space into Two55 Club. Inside, slabs of the old floor can be seen in a pile. Ladders, shovels, and construction tools are visible indicating that the renovation is well underway. And in the middle of everything, what looks like a large L shaped marble granite bar.
The owner has a huge space to work with here at 10,332 square feet that was originally built in 1935. When purchased, the sale was expected to include everything needed to get started including a kitchen, bar, event area, and licensing with room for 225 guests.
The Gaelic Club closed back in 2018. The site has been empty since that time.
Although still under development, their concept will focus on food, drinks, and socializing. Some of the menu options might include Cobb salad, cheese sampler, seared ahi tuna, pasta al pomodoro, vanilla cheesecake, and apple pie. NH Reviews wishes them good luck and success as they move forward.
You can find them at 255 Chelmsford Street in Lowell, Massachusetts once service begins.
