We just found out about this one. A sign has been attached to the front of the building with “Good Eats Restaurant Opening Soon!" so yes, this is really happening.
The location is 320 Lafayette Road in Hampton. That may sound familiar to some, it is the former space of Fast Eddie’s Diner. The sale apparently included all of the old equipment.
Their menu is loaded with comfort foods, sandwiches, and soups made with fresh local ingredients whenever possible. In addition, bakery items and meals for takeout are expected to be available.
The restaurant atmosphere is casual. The owners have about 1,944 square feet to work with inside for their Good Eats concept.
To be honest, we are not that familiar with their location but the space is on Route 1 near a Monro Muffler Brake and an Alltown Mobil. Across the street is a CVS Pharmacy.
They will be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. We are looking forward to a visit and wish them success with their launch.
